Atlantic storms continue to enter the peninsula. The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) warns of the consequences of this phenomenon, which will sweep across all autonomous communities from west to east.
After a calm Monday and a Tuesday expected to follow suit, AEMET advises not to lower the guard in Alicante. Rain will return to the province starting this Wednesday, along with the anticyclone.
Weekly forecast: first days Atlantic storms.

This Tuesday, the phenomenon will bring widespread precipitation with "significant" amounts in the western half of the peninsula, according to AEMET's forecast.
Thus, the anticyclone from these Atlantic storms will reach the province of Alicante 24 hours later, with precipitation in the eastern half of the peninsula and Balearic Islands, continues the state agency of Miteco.
After a midweek marked by rain, AEMET insists that the anticyclonic influence will remain over the peninsula and the province of Alicante, albeit without significant precipitation.
However, the arrival of this air mass will create a mild environment with "temperatures more typical of March than February". Therefore, the absence of snow in the province of Alicante is notable, although there will be morning fog in the valleys.
The forecast from AEMET warns of maximum temperatures of 17 degrees for this Tuesday, 11th February, a sunny day with clouds. The outlook will change this Wednesday with the arrival of rain caused by the anticyclone. Maximums will reach 21 degrees.
The city of Elche is preparing to see temperatures rise from 18 to 22 degrees in just 24 hours, due to the Atlantic storm bringing a mild atmosphere, according to AEMET. The forecast for rain disappears from this municipality.
The municipality of Alcoi wakes up with fog during the early hours of this Tuesday, awaiting the sun. The city will experience maximum temperatures of 17 degrees, which will persist this Wednesday when the rain arrives.
The northern coast of Alicante wakes up this Tuesday with maximums of 17 degrees, expecting to rise to 20 points in the next 24 hours. Clouds will gradually cover the sky of Dénia. Rain will arrive during the afternoon of this Wednesday, unlike the rest of the province of Alicante.
The capital of Vega Baja will be one of the hottest spots in Alicante. The city of Orihuela records maximums of 19 degrees this Tuesday, according to AEMET, expecting to reach 22 on Wednesday. Rain disappears from the forecast.
