Carolinas Altas aims to go beyond visual impact. The commission will plant a bonfire based on the ethical principle of medicine - 'Primum Non Nocere', meaning 'first, do no harm' - to provoke a deep reflection on today's society.

For this, its artist Paco Giner opts to combine colour, volume, and critique, without sacrificing its aesthetic and symbolic weight. This will be embodied in the bonfire's protagonist, a thinker who personifies moral conscience and poses the question: "How would things be if we thought, above all, about not doing harm?"

Sketch of Carolinas Altas. PACO GINER

With this idea, the Carolinas Altas bonfire proposes, as a whole, a journey between the everyday and the universal, questioning the social tendency towards selfishness and personal gain over collective well-being.

The reflection will begin at its base, where a chess game symbolizes life's complexity: sometimes you win, sometimes you learn, and every decision counts. The board is watched over by mystical eyes to remind us that true justice is not always in human hands.

The scenes surrounding the Carolinas Altas bonfire are laden with critique. From the excessive ambition of politicians, to electoral opportunism and institutional neglect in the face of disasters like the dana, to the madness of certain international governments. Against all this, the idea emerges that when people unite, they are unstoppable.

At the top of the structure stands an explosion of wind and colour, which symbolically crowns the display by showcasing diversity in terms of change and hope. In this sense, Paco Giner sends a universal message, based on the idea that to build a just society, we must think about not doing harm.
