The opening of Béton Brut, the ambitious venture by Grupo Forty for Alicante's port, is drawing closer. With construction in an advanced state, the business conglomerate led by the Del Barrio brothers anticipates an April inauguration if everything proceeds as planned.
This was announced during a press conference held this Tuesday at their Puntapiedra restaurant, where they unveiled their novelties and projects for 2025, including, apart from Béton Brut itself, their investment in the Sky Business Center, where they will open various leisure and dining spaces.
Regarding Béton Brut, it is being erected in the building of the former Dársena and is, in the words of CEO Héctor del Barrio, the "great dream" of Grupo Forty for 2025. With an ambitious proposal blending leisure and dining, it will feature four distinct areas and a gastronomic zone led by chef Pablo Montoro.
Del Barrio detailed the significant investment this space represents for the group, which will feature four floors and a terrace. "All the brothers are very excited about its location and the growth of the port," Héctor Del Barrio explains, describing it as a "spectacle." The Samoa project led the Alicante company to once again invest in the Port of Alicante area, and they are confident it will be ready by April.
As for the spaces, it will have a terrace with a snack and cocktail area and four floors. The first will be for dining, the second for events and dining, while the rooftop will offer "exclusive views of Alicante Bay."
Grupo Forty is not only investing in the port area. The Alicante company continues with 'Sa Isla,' the ambitious project of a dining space on a floating island in the Alicante dock, which is currently on hold.
The group details that they are waiting for the situation in the port to be regulated and for the work to be handed back to them. Despite this, Grupo Forty remains committed to advancing this project, although no start or end date is currently planned. "Our perception is that it will take time, but we have everything ready and maintain the project," confirms Forty's CEO.
