Alicante Noir is hosting a new session featuring two prominent authors, Reyes Calderón and Jorge Zaragoza Gómez. Both writers will visit Casa Mediterráneo, the festival's venue, on Thursday, March 20, to discuss their views on crime fiction and introduce their latest novels.
Reyes Calderón will delve into the plot of 'Los crímenes del caviar' ('The Caviar Crimes'), the latest novel featuring Judge Lola MacHor. The story revolves around six simultaneous deaths linked by an exclusive and secretive group dedicated to this delicacy.
Meanwhile, Jorge Zaragoza will discuss 'Sangre entre viñedos. Un thriller en La Rioja' ('Blood Among the Vineyards: A Thriller in La Rioja'), the first case involving Detective Lobo and forensic chemist Delgado. Together, they tackle the murder of Roberto Uriarte, patriarch of one of the region's most influential wineries.
Both authors will engage in a conversation about crafting crime plots and literary suspense. Entry is free until full capacity, offering attendees the opportunity to meet and question Reyes Calderón and Jorge Zaragoza about their literary inspirations.
