Journalist Carme Chaparro brings her 'Punishment' to the Maestral literary evenings

He was the one who alerted the radio. However, no one knows anything about his whereabouts. A situation that brings back forensic Santi, known as 'Crime' in her previous thriller, within the pages written by Carme Chaparro.

The mysteries surrounding 'Punishment', the new novel by journalist and presenter Carme Chaparro, will be unveiled this Friday, October 11th at 8:30 p.m. at the literary evenings of the Maestral restaurant in Alicante, sponsored by Asisa; with a dinner inspired by this thriller that will feature a special wine for the occasion.

In her line of crime novels, Carme Chaparro explores the limits of justice, the power of revenge, and the complexities of the human mind. Through an absorbing narrative and unforgettable characters, 'Punishment' emerges as one of the most intense thrillers of the year, where nothing and no one is what it seems.

To follow this line, the Maestral kitchen team has designed an exclusive menu inspired by 'Punishment', which includes a welcome cocktail composed of 'The best bravas potatoes in Spain and the best croquettes in Alicante', followed by three starters: 'Oil bread with Iberian ham', 'Pea cream with Iberian bacon', and 'Cod brandade with crispy leek'.

The main course will be a dish titled 'Festival of Mediterranean squid from potera, not from Zhen5' and dessert 'Artisanal cheese cake with nougat and marzipan ice cream, chocolate cream, and crispy churros'. This menu will be accompanied by Cesilia Roble red wine, which will be titled 'LOVE ME Adn 4'.
