This September, the magazine '¡Hola!' celebrated its 80th anniversary since its first issue with a grand party attended by numerous celebrities from the social scene such as Ana Obregón, Eugenia Silva, Victoria Federica, Helen Lindes, Norma Duval, Cristina Pedroche, and Elena Tablada. Of course, Isabel Preysler was also present and is one of the protagonists of this special cover, where she shares how much she is enjoying her singleness, even confessing: "I think I am becoming exaggeratingly selfish. Maniacal, even, with the need for silence."

Tamara Falcó's mother acknowledges that she is "happy with the independence and freedom that comes from not having a partner," an experience she had not lived for decades. She hinted at this state during the magazine's anniversary party, where she stated: "I am delighted and happy." "This is the first time I have been single in a long time. Since I was 18, almost 19 years old. I am delighted," she added.

At 73 years old, this is the first time in over half a century that she has been without a partner for so long since her breakup with writer Mario Vargas Llosa in December 2022. It’s understandable that her friends find it hard to believe: "My friends tease me and argue about it, but I tell them that I am happy this way. I really am," she tells '¡Hola!'.

Although she is single, she is far from being alone as her children consider the family home in Puerta del Hierro their main residence. Tamara Falcó regularly visits as it is at her mother's house where she does her daily workout and frequently has dinner. She even currently has the dogs of the Marquise of Griñón in her care, with Íñigo jokingly calling his mother-in-law's house the "canine daycare."

Her daughter Ana Boyer also visits as often as possible with her three children despite living in Doha. In fact, she stayed at her mother's house during her third pregnancy while filming 'Bake Off.' Chabeli also moved into her mother's house during the filming of 'Los Iglesias. Hermanos a la obra,' a renovation show she starred in with her brother Julio José, who is also a regular visitor to what was once known as 'villa meona' due to its 13 bathrooms.

Thus, it is impossible for her to have ever experienced what is known as empty nest syndrome. "I am very fortunate because my children enjoy being with me," she acknowledges while also noting that she likes "being alone, peace and tranquility," but makes it clear that "I cannot compare all that to the immense joy I feel when I am with my grandchildren. Those moments are incomparable."

Therefore, she tries to spend time with them, including Enrique Iglesias' children, who visit Spain less frequently. But that does not prevent maintaining family unity: "I have spent a completely family-oriented summer. I traveled to Miami and saw Enrique and his children. Then, I was with Chabeli and her children and with Julio in Madrid and Marbella," explains a single yet love-filled Isabel Preysler.
