Hercules fans almost never fail, and the short trip to Yecla was no exception. The blue and white season ticket holders formed long queues at Rico Pérez from early morning, and in just three hours, the 400 tickets allocated for visiting fans were sold out. The price was 25 euros, which generated quite a few criticisms on social media.
Hercules will not be alone at La Constitución, a legendary stadium of modest football with a capacity for 3,000 spectators, which the Alicante team has not visited for 21 years. Ruben Torrecilla's team will test their good form in one of the most challenging fields in the category due to the passion transmitted from the stands. Hercules will arrive in Yecla as second and aims to come out even stronger to settle definitively in the top zone, something especially important in this Primera RFEF where five teams from each group are relegated, and the competition is fierce.
Ruben Torrecilla is preparing this week for the visit to Yeclano with an eye on the infirmary once again. In the absence of official confirmation, the versatile Alvarito and Sotillos, as well as top scorer Oriol Soldevila, seem to be ruled out. The first two requested a change in Algeciras due to muscle discomfort and have not yet worked with the group. Meanwhile, Soldevila is still recovering from the ankle sprain suffered against Antequera, and it seems that Torrecilla will reserve him for the match at Rico Pérez against Atlético de Madrid B (Saturday 26 at 21:30). The main novelty of the squad could be the return of forward Dani Romera, although he will not be a starter.
The really good news from the infirmary is led by Samu Vázquez, the only available right-back. The player from Albacete had minutes in Algeciras, did not suffer a relapse from his injury, and showed that he is ready to help. His starting position in Yecla was not planned, but circumstances force it, and he will start in the absence of Alvarito and Sotillos. The Canary Islander Artiles, who scored the decisive 2-3 in Algeciras, could also find a place in the starting eleven. In the engine room, rotations begin, and Aranda was left without minutes in the last match. In Yecla, he will repeat as a substitute, and Torrecilla trusts that the player from Malaga will return stronger after this wake-up call, as he is a player expected to make a difference.
