These are the municipalities in Alicante under yellow alert this Tuesday due to storms and hail

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) and Emergencies 112 of the Generalitat have activated the yellow alert on the northern coast of the province of Alicante this Tuesday. The alert is due to the forecast of rain and storms throughout the day.

The state agency indicates that the yellow alert will be activated from 5 p.m. on the northern coast of the province of Alicante, with special attention to the accumulated precipitation in one hour, which could reach 20 litres per square metre.

Aemet is also monitoring the possibility of hail during the rain and storm episode, especially on the northern coast of the province, specifically in the municipalities of the Marina Alta, Marina Baixa, and El Comtat regions.

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) also forecasts a stormy Tuesday in the city of Alicante. The early hours of the day will start cloudy with an average temperature of 21 degrees.

Thermometers will drop during the afternoon when the storm in Alicante is expected with a one hundred percent probability according to Aemet's prediction.

It will be in the final part of the day when the storm subsides and the clouds begin to disperse and move away from the city of Alicante.
