Hundreds of Alicante traders gathered at the second networking day organised by the Department of Commerce, Impulsalicante, and Facpyme. The Alicante City Council aims to connect and introduce businesses, professionals, and traders, creating new business opportunities and contact networks. The Councillors for Commerce and Employment, Lidia López and Mari Carmen de España, inaugurated the event at the Entrepreneurs Centre.

This is the second business networking day for traders, held with the collaboration of the Benalúa and Corazón de Alicante traders association. During the morning, traders were trained to enhance their customers' shopping experience, providing higher quality services. Other key aspects included offering personalised attention to retain customers and fostering a dynamic local business environment.

Both Councillors for Commerce and Employment expressed their satisfaction with the positive response and success of this new traders' networking forum. Lidia López emphasised that the initiative provides tools to expand their contact networks, grow, improve their sector positioning, and continue learning together, seeking new business opportunities in Alicante.

The meeting discussed ways to boost shopping, enhance commerce development, and provided training and tools to improve sales. Councillor Mari Carmen de España explained that "the aim of this activity was to help boost the city's economic development from the administration, organising activities that promote economic activity and bring traders together at this entrepreneurs' centre to help them enhance and improve their businesses."

The networking was coordinated by Facpyme and the president of the Benalúa association, Roque Pérez, and was attended by associations of Corazón de Alicante and Municipal Markets traders, among others. Councillor Lidia López committed to "continue working hand in hand with traders and the sector, organising new days, initiatives, and activities that promote networking, synergies between traders and entrepreneurs, and create more business opportunities."

Among the attending companies were fashion retailers, nutritionists, clinics, hospitality businesses, digital marketing agencies, event organisers, tourism operators, mortgage managers, insurance providers, consultancies, real estate agencies, IT firms, office furniture suppliers, beauty centres, advisory services, artistic promoters, aerial image capture with drones, and chiropractors.
