Man Arrested in Elche for Assaulting and Threatening Parents with a Knife

The Local Police of Elche arrested a 35-year-old man for assaulting his parents and threatening them with a knife. The arrested man, in an aggressive manner, had to be restrained by the officers upon their arrival at the residence.

According to the victims, in recent months, living with their son had become "unbearable due to his aggression caused by his addiction to alcohol and drugs." In fact, they had previously reported him. However, on this occasion, the arrested man began to assault them and even threatened them with a knife.

The officers quickly went to the residence after receiving a call at the Operations Center alerting them of the man's aggressive behavior. Several patrols went to the scene, hearing screams and bangs from the hallway.

Upon reaching the residence, the municipal officers saw the mother crying and the father restraining their son to prevent further assaults. Due to the need to end the aggression and the aggressor's agitated state, the police had to restrain him.

After the parents explained their son's violent behavior due to his addictions, the Elche officers proceeded to arrest the man, who was taken to the Health Center and later to police custody.
