Over 20 Stage Proposals at the 33rd Mostra de Teatre d'Alcoi

The 33rd edition of the Mostra de Teatre d'Alcoi is set to feature 22 performances from October 21 to 25. Dance, scripted theatre, circus, and magic will fill the streets and theatres, transforming the town into "the epicenter of the performing arts in the Valencian Community," says Elisa Guillem, Councillor for Culture, who highlights the "great variety of proposals."

The event allows programmers from public and private theatres, cultural technicians, and performing arts professionals to sit alongside the general public, thus sharing a theatrical experience. This initiative has made Alcoi a showcase of creativity every October for over 30 years.

A selection of new shows from leading regional theatre companies aims to demonstrate why it is one of the most dynamic scenes in the country.

La Dependent presents the premiere of 'Ibers, històries d'abelles, reines i abellats,' a comedy that exposes hypocrisy and power struggles within the academic world, on October 21.
