À Punt will offer special programming to celebrate the Day of the Valencian Community

À Punt, the Valencian public radio and television, will bring the Nou d'Octubre celebrations to all homes in the territory. The regional channel has prepared extensive special programming to broadcast live the most relevant events of the Day of the Valencian Community.

The special programming kicks off this Monday with a report on current affairs in the program 'Zoom', which will start at 10:45 PM and showcase the most well-known stereotypes about Valencians. This episode features Arturo Valls, Ricardo Ten, Mateu Lahoz, Rosita Amores, and Paco Nadal, among other personalities.

The city of Alicante will take center stage this Tuesday. À Punt will broadcast live from noon the institutional act of awarding the Generalitat's Literary Prize and the Cultural Merit Distinction, which for the first time is held outside Valencia. It will be broadcast on the magazine 'Bon dia Comunitat Valenciana' hosted by Ximo Rovira and Gemma Juan.

The province will also be present during the big day, Wednesday, October 9th. From 9:45 AM to 2 PM, Marta Ventura will host a special program with commentary from historian Vicent Baydal from the terrace of Valencia Cathedral. The live broadcast of the Institutional Act of Awarding High Distinctions will begin at 10 AM.

Throughout the program, Marta Ventura will talk with key figures of the day and connect with Alicante, Castellón, Alcoi, El Campello, and Burriana to show the celebratory atmosphere of October 9th in these municipalities and learn about events organized around the Day of the Valencian Community.

Meanwhile, À Punt radio will offer special programming from 9:45 AM to 12 PM this Wednesday, in a show hosted by Clara Castelló. The program will broadcast the Institutional Act of Awarding High Distinctions of the Generalitat and delve into the history and traditions surrounding the Day of the Valencian Community in the region. At its conclusion, Sergi Olcina will take over with 'El rall'.

The news services of À Punt will be present at events and streets throughout the Valencian Community to provide all information in editions at eight in the morning, two PM, and nine PM.

Programming for the afternoon of October 9th

The special programming for Nou d'Octubre on À Punt will continue throughout this Wednesday afternoon with 'En Directe', hosted by Àlex Blanquer starting at 6:30 PM. The magazine will cover live events happening in Valencia city, Alicante, Castellón, as well as in other localities within the Community.

As for the province, it will focus mainly on live connections and reports on Banyeres' Cercaviles, the Massive Paellas in Muro and Petrer's Correfocs. Emphasis will also be placed on la mocaorà celebration since October 9th is Valencian lovers' day. Likewise, À Punt radio will also be present with Susa Calafat's show 'Podríem fer-ho millor'.

A day of premieres on À Punt

À Punt will premiere 'Olvido', a thriller set during Valencia's flood in 1957 at 10:45 PM. Another premiere is '1238, la conquesta de València' podcast an exciting journey through Conquest history and creation of Lo Regne in Jaume I's time at 7 AM this Nou d'Octubre on À Punt Podcast platform.
