Las Hogueras de Alicante have expressed their deepest shock upon learning of the passing of Noelia Rondón. An exemplary 'foguerera' and indispensable figure, the festival mourns her sad and premature loss this Thursday.

Her loss leaves an immense void in the Fiesta and among all those who shared the stage, dreams, and passion with her. Noelia Rondón, a 'foguerera' in soul and heart, has been the great transformer of the artistic contest of les Fogueres de Sant Joan.
Just a few months ago, the Federació decided to forever link this festival-goer's name to the artistic contest. Therefore, they decided to name the award for best choreography after Noelia Rondón.
This award honours Rondón's bravery and creative talent, as well as her way of leading "with character and heart." These are the words of affection dedicated to her from her 'foguera', Sant Blai-La Torreta.
"The boss has left us, the one who was always there, who put heart, enthusiasm, and smiles into every step we took. She always had a kind word, an energy that was contagious, and a unique way of building a team. With her, everything was possible."
Throughout her festive life, Noelia Rondón has woven a "precious legacy," which her companions have well recognized. Thus, this 'foguerera' has been "the example of someone who gave everything for the festival with love, passion, and joy."

The Federació de les Fogueres de Sant Joan has joined in mourning the loss of Noelia Rondón, "an artist who broke molds, who did not accept the established, who always aimed for more. An tireless creative mind, a source of inspiration for those around her, for those who shared the stage, dreams, and madness."
They also highlight that she was, "without a doubt, a beacon" guiding the course of both the contest and all the people who supported her in life. However, "what made her even greater was her way of being. A good person above all. Approachable, demanding, generous, authentic."

Other 'hogueras' commissions have also dedicated words to Noelia Rondón. One of them was Sagrada Familia, of which she was a 'foguerera' and took to the highest level. "Her passage left an indelible mark, marked by her commitment, joy, and unconditional dedication. Noelia was, and always will be, part of our festive family, and her memory will live on in every act, in every little flame, and in every heart that was part of this great tradition alongside her."
From Florida Portazgo, they have lamented the loss of "a great of the Fiesta, an explosion of art, creativity, and good work"; just as they have from Foguerer Carolinas: "A woman who knew how to leave a mark with her art, her dedication, and her passion for the Fogueres. Her creativity and commitment to this festival are now part of her legacy."

In Virgen del Remedio-La Paz, they have also dedicated a few words: "Today, another star shines brightly in the firmament, we are convinced that alongside other giants of the festival, she is already devising a new project to make our Fiesta even greater if possible."
