The plenary session will also agree to honour various local entities and individuals in different categories. It is proposed to award the Citizen Merit Prize to Remedios Tomás Soler, a recently retired municipal employee who was attached to the Protocol Department and dedicated many years to organising the Jaume Pastor i Fluixà-9 d'Octubre awards.

The Sports Merit Prize has been awarded to Calp swimmers Miguel Ferrer Roselló and Manuel Farrona Clavero for their careers as open water swimmers and for promoting this sport in the town. The Tourism Merit Prize is also awarded to the company Oltasuch Plus Holidays, which started in the 1970s as a construction and real estate management company and has become a leading holiday rental agency in Spain in recent years.

Cultural Merit Medal

The Cultural Merit Medal is awarded to Pere Tur i Sala, a columnist, writer, and cultural promoter, member of the Institute of Calp Studies (IEC). The Business Merit Medal is awarded to the Tango group, a company dedicated to the operation of restaurants, bars, and cafes originating in Calp, which has boosted local hospitality in recent years.

The Young Prize this year goes to Calp resident Marco Carrión, a professional Spanish and flamenco dancer, and the Town Ribbon this year is awarded to the Calpe Fibromyalgia Association.

These awards are presented during the institutional event commemorating the Day of the Valencian Community, with the main prize named after the late Calp historian Jaume Pastor i Fluixà.
