Three people have been accused of participating in an alleged Iranian plot to assassinate Donald Trump. Two of the suspects are detained after the FBI thwarted the alleged conspiracy. The order to kill the Republican leader was supposedly given while he was campaigning for the recent elections on November 5. The United States Department of Justice filed a criminal complaint this Friday in a court in the Southern District of New York regarding this plot. Apparently, a suspected member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard received the order last September to track and monitor Trump's movements. Later, on October 7, a second order was issued to plan an attack against the magnate, which was to occur before the elections. Federal agents have identified Farhad Shakeri, an Afghan citizen, as the central figure responsible for the plot.
