The exhibition is supported by the Provincial Council. Menéndez showcases his vision of the city of Alicante using both photography and photomontage, along with digital techniques. In this way, the past, present, and future of the city are unveiled through images constructed with various social elements, formal architectural elements, and historical, industrial, and recyclable elements. All of this is conceived with a contemporary and innovative language that takes the viewer beyond the usual representation of urban reality.
This method of visual analysis has allowed for the simultaneous presentation of different city spaces, endowing them with artistic and aesthetic meanings in each of the works displayed in 'The Naked City'.
