The National Police have arrested a 27-year-old man for allegedly selling hashish from his residence in Ciudad de Asís. The alleged perpetrator had previously been arrested for similar offences and resumed selling after moving to this neighbourhood, where he was less known.
The investigation began after receiving information about a citizen involved in selling various types of narcotics from his home located in the Alicante neighbourhood of Ciudad de Asís, according to police sources.
Based on all the gathered information, the investigative team initiated various measures to verify the facts and determine the appropriate actions. After conducting several surveillances and follow-ups, the officers confirmed that the man was distributing drugs to individuals who came to purchase their doses.
Once it was confirmed that he was engaged in drug sales, the National Police conducted an operation to search the residence, where they found 2,173 grams of hashish and more than 5,800 euros in fragmented bills. The young man was also arrested for a suspected drug trafficking offence.
The detainee, after the completion of police procedures, has been brought before the duty courts of instruction in the city of Alicante.
