Young Man Arrested in Elche for Assaulting His Mother and Sister While Drunk

The Local Police of Elche have arrested a 22-year-old man who assaulted his mother and sister at their home. The detainee, who arrived in a state of intoxication, even threatened his mother with a glass bottle.

The incident occurred on September 4th, when the municipal security force received a call from a woman at 9 PM, reporting that she was being assaulted by her son. Several patrols were dispatched to the scene.

Two patrol units of the Local Police immediately arrived at the residence located on Jose Javaloyes Orts Street in Elche, where they found the suspect on the access stairs to the building.

The complainant told the officers that her 22-year-old son was intoxicated and, during an argument, had assaulted, pushed, and threatened her with a glass bottle. She also stated that he had grabbed and pushed his sister.

The alleged perpetrator confirmed to the police the events recounted by his mother, leading to his arrest for an alleged crime of domestic violence.
