Mid-Year San Vicente 2024: Events and Schedule

The entry of next Saturday will kick off the festivities for the Mid-Year that San Vicente del Raspeig will celebrate this weekend, organized by the Federation of Moors and Christians Ber-Largas with the support of the City Council. The events will begin with the gatherings of comparsas that will take place from tomorrow until Sunday, September 29.

The venue located in the Inmediaciones area, just a few meters from the El Tubo neighborhood, has almost 11,000 square meters and an adjacent area for parking. Pedestrian access will be facilitated by the temporary suspension of vehicular traffic on Poeta Miguel Hernández Street on Friday, September 27, starting at 8 PM, Saturday, September 28, and Sunday, September 29, until 8 PM.

Various council departments have provided services for attendees at the venue. Among them, users will have access to a new Purple Point promoted by the Social Rights area that will offer personalized attention to all interested parties, information, and advice.

The Urban Services and Maintenance departments have also carried out work to adapt the plot and its surroundings and will launch a special cleaning and waste collection operation that will include selective containers.

From Security, a device will be deployed that will include reinforcement from Local Police and Civil Protection agents, in coordination with other state security forces, and the presence of Firefighters. The Festival Councilor has announced that there will also be an ambulance service.

Regarding the recreational schedule, activities for children have been prepared and, among other novelties, on Friday, after the brotherhood dinner, the venue will host the Tribute to the '80s and '90s concert by the group Rock y 4. Also for the first time, a free video booth will be installed for all festival-goers and visitors.

The councilor, also responsible for Tourism, has invited all citizens and visitors from these municipalities "to enjoy the parade that will take place on Saturday starting at 6 PM with the participation of the twenty comparsas that make up the Christian and Moorish sides." The itinerary will start on Alicante Street and continue along Ancha de Castelar and Libertad Avenue.
