A Year Away from Stadiums and 30 Hours of Community Service for Minor Who Insulted Lamine Yamal During El Clásico

One year of being banned from stadiums and 30 hours of community service is the punishment that the minor who hurled racist insults at Lamine Yamal during the La Liga clásico on October 26 at the Bernabéu must serve. "Son of a b****," "bloody immigrant," or "f***ing black" were some of the insults hurled by Real Madrid fans at the young Barça star, as revealed by LaLiga, which reported on Tuesday that the minor who was reported by the organisation "has admitted the facts and accepted, within the framework of the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office file, the imposition of 30 hours of community service."

Furthermore, "at the express request of LaLiga," the Real Madrid fan will also be banned from "accessing any stadiums where official football competitions are held for a period of one year," and must "expressly and in writing apologise" to Lamine Yamal. "With this action, LaLiga reiterates its firm commitment to combating racism and any manifestation of hate in football," stated the organisation led by Javier Tebas.

After the Real Madrid-Barcelona match (0-4), LaLiga submitted its traditional report to the Competition Committee of the Spanish Football Federation (FEF) and the Anti-Violence Commission, acknowledging that Lamine Yamal received "numerous insults from some fans, without being in any case either generalised or coordinated."

LaLiga is awaiting the resolution regarding the two adults who accompanied the sanctioned minor and who are accused of insulting both Lamine Yamal and Raphinha.
