Yanis Senhadji feels indebted to Hércules, and the club is convinced that this factor will be crucial for the striker to rejoin the team next season. The forward, a Spanish U19 international, joined Hércules as a major winter signing but only managed to play 26 minutes in the blue and white due to a meniscus tear suffered during his debut against Yeclano at Rico Pérez. The injury was more severe than initially expected, causing Yanis to miss the entire second half of the season, leaving coach Rubén Torrecilla with only Dani Romera and Agus Coscia as offensive options. The former struggled due to numerous physical issues, while the latter played almost every match, finishing the season with eight goals and earning a renewal that should be forthcoming.
Torrecilla has already informed sporting director Paco Peña and owner Enrique Ortiz that Yanis's return is a priority for him. The nearly 1.90-meter-tall striker was crowned U19 European champion with Spain last summer, which opened the doors to the second division. However, he did not stand out at Tenerife and could not do so at Hércules due to his injury. Despite a blank season, Yanis's market value remains high, and Betis must decide whether to loan or transfer him. The Alicante club is keen to secure the forward by any means and expects a gesture from the player to return to Rico Pérez.
So far, the only confirmed signing for Hércules, although not officially announced, is midfielder Ben Hamed. The Cameroonian pivot arrives from Amorebieta, and both Peña and Torrecilla have high hopes for him. Regarding renewals, only goalkeeper Carlos Abad's has been successfully completed, and Ortiz is confident that Javi Moreno will also give his approval.
As for departures, several are clear: defenders Joel Arumí, Josema, and Abraham del Moral already know they will not continue, as well as pivot Mario García, winger Alvarito, and striker Dani Romera. Finally, players like central defender Antonio Montoro, pivot Carlos Mangada, and attacking midfielder Antonio Aranda have contracts for the next season, but their continuity is uncertain.
