Bar Workers in Elche Catch Two Young Men Stealing Beverage Crates

The Local Police of Elche have arrested two young men for stealing several crates of beverages from a local bar. The suspects had to climb a concrete and metal fence two and a half meters high to gain access to the establishment and take the merchandise.

The incident occurred on September 9th, when workers at a bar located on Almansa Street alerted the municipal security force that two young men had jumped the perimeter fence of the premises and were leaving with crates of beverages while they were performing cleaning tasks.

Several police units were dispatched to the scene, and while some officers gathered more information about the perpetrators, others conducted an inspection of the surroundings, where they spotted two individuals matching the described characteristics on a nearby street.

The two individuals were carrying several crates of beverages, and upon noticing the police presence, they dropped the crates and attempted to flee, but officers quickly intercepted them.

Similarly, officers confirmed that the suspects had to scale a concrete and metal fence approximately two and a half meters high to access the interior of the bar and steal the merchandise. As a result of the incident, the two 26-year-old men were arrested and taken to police headquarters.
