Woman Found in Gijón Half-Naked and Seriously Injured

The National Police are investigating the discovery of a 40-year-old woman found half-naked and with apparent injuries in Gijón. She was located around 11 a.m. on the coastal path of Cervigón, next to a vehicle that showed numerous dents and damage to its bodywork. In recent years, the woman had several reports of disappearance.

She was initially attended to by the emergency medical service (SAMU). Her critical health condition necessitated her airlift to HUCA. She was unconscious and suffered severe injuries.

At present, all hypotheses remain open. The National Police officers in charge of the investigation are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident, which is believed to have occurred during the early hours of Sunday.

It was a passerby who found the woman and immediately alerted emergency services.
