Woman Found Dead, Half-Naked, Showing Signs of Violence in Burgos

A woman, approximately 35 years old, was discovered dead, half-naked, and "with clear signs of violence" inside a residence in the Burgos town of Santa Cruz del Valle Urbión earlier this afternoon.

The woman's body was found lifeless around five o'clock in the afternoon in a home on Plaza Street, right in the town's urban center, as confirmed by emergency service sources.

Civil Guard units and medical professionals arrived at the scene, but could only confirm the woman's death.

The usual protocol in such cases was immediately activated, and the Civil Guard's Judicial Police Unit has opened an investigation to determine the cause of death. Sources consulted do not rule out any hypotheses at this time.
