Woman Arrested for Threatening Two Housemates with a Knife in Elche

The tension in a household in Elche was palpable. Constant arguments among the three tenants were a daily occurrence until things got out of hand. During one of these altercations, a 58-year-old female occupant threatened one of the tenants with a large knife.

Given the tense situation, the other housemate intervened in an attempt to calm the aggressor and get her to drop the weapon, but he was also menacingly threatened. Faced with these circumstances, both tenants struggled with her, managed to seize the knife, and took refuge in one of the house's bathrooms to avoid being attacked. However, they were pursued by the aggressor, who banged on the door while continuing to issue threats.

Due to the severity of the situation, one of them called the police. When officers arrived at the scene, the aggressor continued to threaten and insult her housemates, leading to her arrest and transfer to police custody by officers from Elche Local Police.
