The Tibau Team continues to make strides in the history of motor sports. After their debut in the Baja Cross Country World Cup at the Baja Aragón last July, they are now preparing for 2025 and 2026. The team's goal is to participate in two races next year to achieve their ultimate dream, the Dakar Rally 2026.

The team has already marked their 2025 calendar, which notably includes the Baja Aragón once again, where they finished 9th out of 13 participants in their debut this year, and the Rally of Morocco. The latter is one of the most historic rallies in this sport and is considered a precursor to the Dakar due to its special route through the Sahara Desert, making it one of the toughest and most prestigious events in the world.

Thus, Tibau Team aims to be in top form for their first Dakar in January 2026. The team lineup remains unchanged since their debut in Aragón and includes driver Helena Tarruell Tibau; co-driver Jaqueline Ricci; and control operator Rebeca Aramburu, who will reunite with a focus on accumulating more miles together and continuing to break barriers for women's sports in Spain.

Tibau Team is led by Rafa Tibau, CEO of the pharmaceutical company Ti – Medi, who has 35 years of experience in the Dakar and began an ambitious project 12 years ago aimed at promoting female participation in off-road racing. For Tibau, "The debut last July at the Baja Aragón was the start of a journey that will be tough but will prepare us for next year's competitions and demonstrate that Spanish women's sports have a lot to offer in motor sports. We are fully committed to this project and want to keep making history."

Meanwhile, Helena Tarruell is excited about what lies ahead for this team. "The debut at the Baja Aragón showed us what we are capable of and made us realize that we can achieve many things together. Therefore, we will work throughout this year to perfect all our skills and bring much joy in the competitions of 2025 and 2026," she states.
