Weather in Alicante: Weekend of Sun, Clouds, and Possible Showers

The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) forecasts a weather scenario for this Friday with predominantly partly cloudy skies across much of the province of Alicante, alternating with clear spells during the early and late hours of the day. Temperatures will reach highs around 23 degrees Celsius, while lows will range between 13 and 14 degrees.

Regarding temperatures by city, Alicante city will record a high of 23 degrees and a low of 15, while Elche will reach 24 degrees, with a low of 14. Benidorm will remain slightly cooler, with highs of 22 and lows of 16, and Orihuela will be the warmest location, with a high of 25 degrees and a low of 13.

Meanwhile, Denia will have highs of 22 degrees and lows of 15, while Alcoy will present cooler values, with a high of 20 degrees and a low of 12. Finally, Villena will range between a high of 21 degrees and a low of 11, being the area with the lowest temperatures in the province.

The wind will blow from the north and northwest with some intensity during the central hours of the day, especially in inland areas, contributing to a greater wind chill in those regions. Meanwhile, along the coastal strip, the wind will be milder, with a light breeze from the sea, helping to moderate daytime temperatures.

Looking ahead to Saturday, AEMET anticipates an increase in cloudiness, especially in inland and mountainous areas, where occasional showers are not ruled out and could intensify in the Vinalopó regions or around the Sierra de Aitana, although they are unlikely to become widespread across the territory. Some isolated storms are also not ruled out during the afternoon, which could occasionally extend towards coastal areas.
