The storm 'Caetano' will reach the northern peninsula this Wednesday with the arrival of a front that will bring cloudy or overcast skies in the northern half. It will rain across the Cantabrian coast and northern Spain, more abundantly in the eastern Cantabrian, where there is a likelihood of persistent precipitation. Additionally, snow will fall in the Pyrenees, with significant accumulations at altitudes dropping from 2,000 metres to around 1,500.

The weather will remain stable, with clear skies and maximum temperatures reaching up to 23 or 24 degrees and minimums between 14 and 15. Abundant low morning clouds are expected to lift.
Thursday will be marked by the approach and deepening of 'Caetano' over the northern peninsula with a front entering precisely through that area, which will bring cloudy or overcast skies to the peninsula and the Balearic Islands, and precipitation in most of the northern half.
Aemet has activated the yellow alert in the interior of Alicante province for winds exceeding 80 kilometres per hour, a warning that in Valencia province is elevated to an orange level of up to 90 kilometres per hour from the west.
Additionally, very strong gusts are expected in wide interior areas of the northeastern half, especially in the Cantabrian area, the Iberian surroundings, interiors of the extreme east, and in Ibiza. It will rain more abundantly in Galicia and the Cantabrian, and the precipitation could be persistent and heavy in the northwest.
'Caetano' will move away this Friday, although a front associated with this storm will affect the northern half of the peninsula. The intense westerly wind will subside in the peninsula and the Balearic Islands, although strong intervals and very strong gusts will appear in Mediterranean, Cantabrian, and Galician coasts. Additionally, very strong gusts are expected in wide interior areas of the northeastern half, especially in the Iberian surroundings and interiors of the extreme east.
