Travel from Alicante to the heart of Africa in just a few minutes is now possible. The first Voltereta restaurant in the city has announced its opening date and will transport diners to a space transformed into the Tanzanian jungle.

The Valencian chain will open its doors in five days, unveiling the new use and atmosphere of the former Navas Cinemas in Alicante. These cinemas have ceased projecting films, allowing visitors to live their own story and experience firsthand.

The Voltereta Tanzania restaurant in Alicante offers a journey that begins as soon as you cross its entrance. In the former hall of the Navas Cinemas, a train station has been erected where diners will be welcomed by a conductor.

While waiting to get their ticket, visitors can stroll around and discover, through small peepholes, the rest of the group's restaurants: Manhattan, Bali, Welcome Home, and Tokyo in Valencia, New Zealand in Zaragoza, and 1920s Paris in Seville.

After touring the rest of the world, the conductor will call the visitors and guide them through a mirror walk to the door that will lead them to the heart of Tanzania. They will enter this corner of Africa, in the heart of Alicante, beneath a giant baobab tree.

Once through the tree trunk, diners will access a camp located in the African jungle, with tents, cabins, and various plant species, such as acacias and grasses. All this is under the Alicante sun, as the former projection room of the Navas Cinemas has completely changed and now features a skylight illuminated by daylight.

Among the surprises of the Voltereta Tanzania restaurant in Alicante are the dimensions of the venue, over a thousand square meters that appear even more spacious and deep due to the effect of mirrors added to its walls.

These will highlight the extensive decoration used in this themed restaurant in Alicante, where the realistic trees planted inside stand out, along with the rock walls where an artificial waterfall has been created.

Other elements in Voltereta Tanzania are within reach of visitors. The first is a jeep that diners can climb into to take their best photos, as well as walk above on a first floor created in the cabins surrounding the restaurant.

In these, you can also dine, just like in the other spaces in the middle of the African jungle or under a tent. Additionally, this restaurant in Alicante includes a laboratory to learn about the native fauna and flora in Tanzania, as well as an observatory to closely examine every detail.

This journey from Alicante to Tanzania costs an average of 23 to 25 euros per diner, who can enjoy a wide menu inspired by the cuisine of this African country, following the example of the rest of the Voltereta group's restaurants.
