Local Police in Elche have arrested three individuals for attempting to evict a man from his home violently. The incident occurred when a neighbour on Torres Quevedo Street called 092, reporting that a man was shouting for help.
Immediately, a patrol arrived at the scene and found five people arguing in the building's stairwell. Officers spoke separately with those involved: the man residing in the home and the property owner, who arrived with three individuals accusing the man of having illegally occupied the house. They claimed they attempted to force his eviction for this reason.

To verify the conflicting accounts, officers confirmed it was the habitual residence of the 50-year-old man who was calling for help as the woman's three companions attempted to forcibly evict him. They assaulted him and took his mobile phone in an attempt to cut off his communication.
Officers checked the documents presented by each party and the belongings inside the house belonging to the man.
Due to the events, the three companions of the property owner, aged between 28 and 36, were arrested for alleged coercion and assault on the resident and were taken to police custody.
