Villena Town Council has announced the allocation of €145,000 in grants for social inclusion projects. Councillor for Health and Social Welfare, Alba Laserna, unveiled the guidelines for applying for these grants, which are intended for the town's socio-sanitary associations.
Eligible projects for funding include those working with individuals with physical, intellectual, or sensory disabilities; populations with mental health issues; groups in social vulnerability or with addictive behaviours; individuals with diseases such as Alzheimer's or cancer; as well as minors at risk or in protective situations.
Each entity may submit only one application
These grants can be applied for by non-profit associations and private entities, legally constituted and active, operating in the fields of social services, disability, or the socio-sanitary sector.
Each entity may submit a single application, which must include a distinct project or action in areas such as attention to situations of vulnerability and social exclusion, care for the elderly and dependents, family and child care, drug addiction and addictive disorders, attention to functional diversity, or community action.
The grants will cover expenses directly related to the execution of the projects, such as own personnel, professional services, rentals, purchase of consumable materials, legal or financial advice, and other costs directly linked to the subsidised activity, provided they are detailed in the application report.
