The Town Hall of La Vila Joiosa announced on Monday morning the launch of a new edition of its shopping voucher campaign to encourage purchases in local shops and stimulate the local economy. This time, the initiative will coincide with the back-to-school period and the return to work for those who enjoyed their summer holidays, running from September 4th to 30th.

During this period, vouchers worth 10, 20, and 50 euros will be available for use in local shops participating in the promotion. To use these vouchers, a purchase must be made for double the value of the downloaded voucher. For instance, if using the maximum voucher value, the user must make a purchase worth 100 euros but will only need to pay 50 euros.

To access the vouchers, the Town Hall has set up the website www.bonosconsumovillajoyosa.es where both merchants interested in joining the campaign and consumers wishing to download the vouchers can do so. Additionally, a section on the municipal website will link directly to the voucher management portal.

Vouchers can also be acquired in person, particularly by senior citizens, at Vilamuseu (57 Colón Street) on September 5th and 6th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The vouchers can be redeemed at participating establishments within ten days of acquisition. Any vouchers not redeemed within their validity period will be made available again to citizens from September 16th and 23rd if they remain unused.

These vouchers can only be used at participating establishments, whose list can be found on the same website where they are downloaded. They are intended for individuals over 18 years old who are registered residents of La Vila Joiosa.

The Councillor for Commerce, Rosa Llorca, explained that this time the municipality is joining the shopping voucher campaign with a total amount of 382,859 euros from a grant provided by the Provincial Council of Alicante.
