Eva Valentina García Martínez was born in Saint Petersburg and by the age of two, she was already walking the streets of Alicante dressed in traditional attire. At that age, she held the title of 'minicremaora d'honor', marking the beginning of a significant journey in the Hogueras of Alicante.

This young woman lives the city's official festivities every day of the year to "continue a tradition started by our elders." The efforts and dedication of the new generations allow us to "improve and adapt it to the 21st century."

In her case, she does so from within her commission, Pla Hospital, where she has been involved in various delegations, such as the belles and children's groups over several terms. She has also held representative roles such as child bellea, adult lady of honour, and bellea of the past term, now being a candidate for bellea del foc de Alicante.

For Eva Valentina García Martínez, the Hogueras of Alicante are "moments that blend gastronomy, fun, culture, art, tradition, friendship, and family." Moreover, she firmly believes that "they must be lived to be truly felt." Of the main days, she highlights the plantà on June 20th.

It is during that night when nerves appear, awaiting to see "the result of a year's work planted in our district." The bonfire, the central axis, allows all its neighbours and foguerers to enjoy, awaiting the cremà, which "means that our Fiesta continues, as one cycle ends and another begins."

This Alicante native also accumulates numerous memories and highlights an anecdote experienced during her reign. It was last June 24th during the cremà when a firefighter lent her the hose to wet the foguerers of Pla Hospital.
