On Wednesday, January 15, 'Valencians al món' unveils the side of Vaud, one of Switzerland's most emblematic regions, renowned for its landscapes. The broadcast will be at 22:45, led by reporter Nerea Camps, on À Punt.

Pablo Gascón, from Elche (Baix Vinalopó), has been living in Mézières for fourteen months, and with him, we will visit Zermatt, a unique city located at the foot of the famous Matterhorn. It is one of the most iconic destinations in the Swiss Alps. This picturesque alpine town is unique, as it has banned conventional cars to preserve the natural environment and ensure clean air.

Elías Puente, from Benidorm (Marina Baixa), has lived in Vevey for ten years. With him, we will go to Chillon Castle, the most visited monument in the country. This majestic medieval castle surrounded by water seems like something out of a fairy tale and was the inspiration for the design of the prince's castle in Disney's famous film, The Little Mermaid. The tour will also take us to Chaplin's World, a unique museum dedicated to the life and work of Charlie Chaplin. Here, we will discover the house where the brilliant filmmaker lived during his last 25 years.

Carolina Pastor, from Valencia, has been living in Lausanne for twelve years, and with her and her husband Rafael Ayuso, also from Valencia, we will discover why Switzerland is known worldwide as the country of milk chocolate.

Paula Beneyto, from Ontinyent (Vall de Albaida), has been living in Morges for four and a half years. We will visit Münster and a butcher shop with over a century of tradition, a true temple of local flavours, and we will have the opportunity to taste these traditional meats.

Nicolás Cepeda, from l'Alfàs del Pi (Marina Baixa), has been living in Switzerland for six months. With him, we will visit the spectacular Lavaux vineyards, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These terraced vineyards stretch along the shores of Lake Geneva, offering an impressive landscape where nature and human intervention harmoniously combine. The microclimate here provides ideal conditions for wine production, especially of white grape varieties.
