BMW Motorrad chose the prestigious Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este at Lake Como to unveil its latest concept bike, an impressive motorcycle that will serve as inspiration in terms of technology and design for the future generation of sports models from the Munich brand.
The BMW Motorrad Concept RR boasts championship DNA, powered by the 230 hp inline four-cylinder engine of the M 1000 RR, with which rider Toprak Razgatlioğlu won the FIM Superbike World Championship last year. It features the same electronic control and regulation systems directly from WSBK, such as engine management, traction control, and engine braking.
High-tech materials like carbon and aluminium have been used in its construction, optimizing every detail of the bike to achieve benchmark levels of lightness. Its design also highlights elements such as a raised RR logo on the tail and an illuminated RR symbol on the lower part of the aluminium tail.
The concept bike is equipped with an aerodynamic fairing with integrated wings and high-performance brakes. The engineers' main objectives were to achieve "stability at very high speeds," "maximum speed in curves," and "minimal air resistance for optimal top speed."

Markus Flasch, Director of BMW Motorrad: "Never before has BMW Motorrad provided such an early glimpse of the future generation of RR models. The BMW Motorrad Concept RR is a true masterpiece of our development team, both technically and in terms of design language. Guided and inspired by the production superbike BMW Motorrad M 1000 RR, with which BMW Motorrad factory rider Toprak Razgatlioğlu was able to easily win the FIM Superbike World Championship last year, the Concept RR offers a true whirlwind of emotions for both street and track use. The transition from racing to road has never been so clearly demonstrated. It represents BMW Motorrad's intention to offer the highest level of engineering and maximum performance in this segment."
Additionally, to mark the presentation of the Concept RR, BMW developed an exclusive lifestyle jacket: the Concept RR LTD, limited to 50 units. Made of nappa leather and crafted in collaboration with the traditional Bavarian company MEINDL.
