The federated team of the University of Alicante, which has already demonstrated its quality and commitment in previous championships, has achieved this new title - the second in its record - thanks to its effort, dedication, and competitive spirit.

The victory not only represents a sporting milestone for the UA but also reaffirms its leadership in traditional rowing and its commitment to promoting high-level university sports.

The sports director of the university team, Alfonso Penichet, highlighted that "we are very happy, not only for the result but for how well the team competed in this Spanish Championship where we managed to row very well despite the rough sea."

The women's team, on the other hand, did not qualify for the final phase in this Spanish Championship - a title they did achieve in the previous edition - after an excellent season in which they won the league.

Penichet recalled that in three years, the University of Alicante has won three Spanish Championship titles in this rowing modality, two men's and one women's.
