A unique piece, a 1956 Porsche 550 RS Spyder, up for auction

One of the 10 unique cars that have participated in Le Mans out of a total of 90 units produced, a 1956 Porsche 550 RS Chassis 550-0082, has entered auction at Bonhams/Cars.

This marks the return to Knokke-Heist, Belgium, for one of the most important events on its global auction calendar, with an impressive selection of over 65 collectible cars.

More than half of the vehicles will be offered without reserve.

With an estimated value between €3,400,000 and €3,900,000, the Porsche 550 RS Spyder boasts an exceptionally well-documented history.

And now, this model, which is now presented with a yellow wrap-around decoration, was used by the Belgian national racing team during the 1956 and 1957 seasons.

It is also eligible for the most prestigious international events, including Le Mans Classic and Mille Miglia Storica.
