Ukraine Agrees to 30-Day Ceasefire in Saudi Arabia
Delegations from the United States and Ukraine also agree to advance the agreement on mineral resource exploitation

Ukraine has accepted the US proposal for an immediate 30-day ceasefire and has agreed to take steps towards establishing lasting peace following the Russian invasion, according to a joint statement released by the delegations of both countries after nine hours of negotiations in the Saudi city of Jeddah.
Furthermore, the United States and Ukraine have also agreed to finalise as soon as possible a comprehensive agreement to develop Ukraine's critical mineral resources, an agreement that was supposed to be concluded by the 28th of last month but was derailed following the dispute between Presidents Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House.
