La UEFA edited the video it released to demonstrate that the controversial penalty by Julián Álvarez, annulled by Polish referee Marciniak at the VAR's request, was correctly ruled out. This decision ultimately led to Real Madrid's advancement to the Champions League round of 16 and Atlético's elimination. This is according to a forensic report commissioned by Atlético supporters, which "reinforces the manipulation hypothesis, as it is a rare anomaly in original files."

According to a statement by the International Union of Atlético de Madrid Supporters at 19:03 on Friday, coinciding with the founding year of the red-and-white club, the 66-page report reveals that the video released by UEFA 16 hours after the controversial Euroderby "has been edited, raising reasonable doubts about the intentions of those who may be responsible for the manipulation."

In its highly technical conclusions, the report asserts the existence of "inconsistencies in metadata, an internal structure not matching camera recordings, certain anomalies in entropy analysis, specific visual cloning in certain regions, and a complete absence of sound content."

Therefore, the entity representing the majority of Atlético fans does not hesitate to label UEFA's attitude as "cynical, twisting facts to confuse fans by claiming the player touched the ball twice (using the edited video as evidence), under the false argument that this justified the goal's annulment." According to the supporters, "the reality, which they have tried to overlook, is that the ball never clearly moved, as the rule strictly requires."

For all these reasons, the International Union of Atlético Supporters demands UEFA to provide "public explanations" for the allegations, "releasing the original video and audio and transparently explaining the reasons for editing the video, published almost a day after the unjustifiable annulment of the goal."

The Atlético supporters conclude that, "otherwise, there will be no choice but to assume bad faith on UEFA's part (and not merely a glaring error by the referee and the VOR room officials), and, consequently, that the competition has been compromised, as the damage caused has not been rectified by replaying the penalty shootout."

If their demands are not met, the Union guarantees that it "will continue until the truth of what happened is clarified, and we will not hesitate to resort to ordinary justice to support our legitimate claims."
