The Tramnochador Returns to Alicante for Summer Weekends

Alicante once again has a night tram service during weekend nights in the summer. The trams will run across the province from the night of July 4 to Saturday, August 30, offering uninterrupted service.

The Tramnochador will provide service on lines 1 to Benidorm, 2 to San Vicente del Raspeig, 3 to El Campello, 4 to San Juan Beach, and 9 to Garganes station in Altea.

Regarding stops, the Alicante night tram will stop at all stations and halts on the various lines, except for Sangueta, between Marq-Castillo and La Isleta.

With this special arrangement of the Alicante Tram during weekend nights in the summer, Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV) aims to expand the range of journeys to a larger number of users.

In this regard, the Tramnochador will facilitate access to Alicante's main leisure areas "safely," intending to transport "thousands of citizens, especially young people travelling during the early hours, without needing to use their own vehicle."

The Alicante night tram will be in service - with all its lines operational except for L5 from Puerta del Mar - during Friday and Saturday nights, as well as Thursday, August 14, the eve of the Assumption of the Virgin holiday.

The frequencies of the trains and trams will depend on the different lines and time slots. The schedules for the first weekend of the Tramnochador's operation are as follows.

The L1 of the Tram departing from Alicante to Benidorm has schedules at: 00.34 and 02.04 hours; the same as those of L3 heading to El Campello.

The night schedules of the L2 Tram heading to San Vicente del Raspeig are: 00.24, 00.54, 01.24, 01.54, 02.24, 02.54, 03.24, 03.54, 04.24, and 04.54 hours.

In the case of L4, the departure times from Alicante to San Juan Beach will be at 00.29, 01.29, 01.59, 02.59, 03.59, and 04.59 hours.
