Toyota reinvents getaways with its new Proace Camper and City Verso MiniCamper

Toyota is committed to getaways and outdoor life with its new and updated PROACE Verso Camper and PROACE City Verso MiniCamper ranges.

These models transform the way of travelling, allowing you to enjoy nature and adventure without sacrificing the comfort of an everyday vehicle. Both models have been camperised in collaboration with specialist Tinkervan, as part of the ToyotaSeAdapta programme, which aims to meet customers' mobility needs through bespoke adaptations.

The Toyota PROACE Verso Camper offers flexibility with two engine options – a 2.0D with 145 HP and another with 180 HP – available with a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. Additionally, it allows you to choose between two body sizes (medium L1 and long L2) and four trims: OUTFUN, NOMAD, NOMAD PLUS, and the exclusive NOMAD PLUS HOME.

Meanwhile, the Toyota PROACE City Verso MiniCamper comes with a 1.5D engine with 130 HP, a six-speed manual transmission, long body (L2), and three trims: OUTFUN, NOMAD, and NOMAD PLUS.

Both models, PROACE Verso Camper and PROACE City Verso MiniCamper, share a series of common equipment designed for life on the road. Highlights include an indoor and outdoor use table, an external auxiliary battery (100 Ah for PROACE Verso and 80 Ah for PROACE City Verso), several 12V and USB sockets, three integrated LED lights, and interior curtains to ensure maximum privacy. The PROACE Verso adds the option of swivel seats for the driver and co-driver, while the PROACE City Verso can incorporate an additional seat for the co-driver, facilitating the lounge mode configuration.

The OUTFUN trim, the base camperisation version, provides simplicity and practicality with essential elements such as a bed and a portable shower (12 litres in Camper, 10 litres in MiniCamper). For those seeking more, the NOMAD and NOMAD PLUS versions raise the level. The NOMAD PLUS also incorporates diesel auxiliary heating with a programmable external battery and additional USB sockets.

The NOMAD and NOMAD PLUS variants introduce significant improvements, such as the innovative bed seat with storage drawer and a technical floor on rails, optimising interior space and safety with Isofix anchors. The NOMAD version in the PROACE Verso Camper stands out for its elevating roof, reaching up to 2.5 metres in maximum height (with the roof open), creating a more habitable and luminous interior space. This roof integrates two large windows with mosquito nets and a winter window, along with a comfortable bed of 2 x 1.30 metres. For the first time, the NOMAD trim with an elevating roof also arrives in the PROACE City Verso MiniCamper, offering a maximum interior height of 2.40 metres and a bed of 1.95 x 1.05 metres.

The NOMAD PLUS HOME version positions itself as the most equipped option within the PROACE Verso Camper range. It includes all the accessories of NOMAD PLUS and adds fixed storage modules, a removable kitchen and sink module (for indoor or outdoor use), and a 40-litre fridge. This variant, available exclusively in the PROACE Verso Family Advance L1, transforms the vehicle into a true home on wheels, ideal for longer and more comfortable adventures.

To further personalise the camper experience, Toyota offers a range of extra accessories. These include an external 220V socket (for PROACE Verso Camper), ultra-light folding chairs, a beginner's removable bed structure kit, awnings, and bike racks with capacity for 2 bikes in PROACE City Verso and up to 4 in PROACE Verso.

The new Toyota PROACE Verso Camper and Toyota PROACE City Verso MiniCamper can now be configured at Toyota Spain's Official Dealer Network. Prices for the OUTFUN version start from €37,446 for the PROACE City Verso MiniCamper Family L2 Active and from €34,427 for the PROACE Verso Camper Shuttle VX L1.
