In 2023, Toyota launched the second generation of the Toyota C-HR with the opening of the full range, and in 2024, Toyota went a step further with the launch of its plug-in hybrid version, the Toyota C-HR Plug-in. Thus, the new Toyota C-HR features three powertrains: two hybrids - Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV) - and a plug-in hybrid - Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV). Designed, conceived, and produced in Europe for European customers with three equipment levels - Active, Advance, and GR SPORT - in addition to special editions with standout equipment: Premiere Edition and GR SPORT Premiere Edition.
The iconic coupe silhouette introduced by its predecessor is further emphasized in the new Toyota C-HR, thanks to features such as the pronounced tension lines of its bodywork or its unique rear optics, which visually merge with the rear window. Its style is also enhanced by its wide range of wheels up to 20 inches and its bi-tone design, available in some finishes.
The new Toyota C-HR Plug-in Hybrid 220 incorporates innovative technology, optimising the efficiency of the hybrid system and achieving a truly electric and emission-free driving experience. When used exclusively in cities or urban areas, it achieves an equivalent electric range of up to 100 km*1, depending on vehicle specifications. Thanks to innovations in its physical components, when plugged in, a battery heating system reduces the time needed to recharge, which is very convenient in cold climates.
Engines: hybrid and plug-in hybrid 140 - 223 HP

When the battery runs out on long journeys, the Toyota C-HR Plug-in Hybrid 220 showcases its true dual DNA, automatically switching to hybrid mode, thus providing drivers with the peace of mind and flexibility of Toyota's category-leading hybrid technology, ensuring continuous efficiency at all times.
