All of the Comunitat has rallied around Valencia. The terrible floods have already claimed more than 90 lives in what is the worst tragedy in the territory's history. The torrential rains have destroyed everything in their path, leaving piles of cars and broken infrastructure in the province of Valencia.
The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has issued a strong warning this Thursday stating that the climate emergency «is not over» and Castellón, especially the north, is already on red alert for rains that leave more than 180 liters per square meter and road flooding.

In this situation, every bit of help counts, and the Association of Tourist Apartments of the Comunitat (APTUR CV) is aware of this. Therefore, they announce that they will make available temporary accommodation in their tourist apartments for those affected by DANA in Valencia
.
APTUR CV confirms that they have already made these tourist accommodations available to the Administration to offer housing to people who cannot return to theirs due to the floods that have hit Valencia.
«With the aim of helping to mitigate the impact of the emergency, the tourist housing association of the Comunitat has made its properties available to public bodies to house those citizens who, due to the floods, cannot return home immediately,» reads a statement from the association.

The president of APTUR CV, Silvia Blasco, has indicated that «at this moment our priority is to support society and provide help to those in need» and announces that «we offer a roof to all those affected to the authorities».
APTUR CV reiterates its social commitment and calls for the solidarity of the sector to support the affected people, providing an alternative accommodation during this emergency situation.
