Torrevieja Hosts Seminar on Turning Failure into Personal Success

Learning from failure and transforming it into an opportunity is the central theme of the seminar "Start-up Talks Torrevieja | Failure as a Catalyst for Personal Success," organised by the Scientific Park of Miguel Hernández University (UMH) of Elche and the Torrevieja City Council. The event will take place this Thursday, 26th June, at 18:30 at the Torrevieja Nautical Club.

The session will feature Daniel Andreu, promoter of the defunct Agrosingularity, and Ismael Galiana, founder of Yavino, two projects that, despite no longer being active, provided their founders with valuable lessons. Today, both hold positions of responsibility in the business sector: Andreu is the general director at Gesinflot, a company dedicated to the management and control of road transport fleets, and Galiana leads the Solar Team at Konery, a consultancy specialising in renewable energy and energy efficiency.

The speakers will share their entrepreneurial journeys, from the beginnings to the transformation of their professional paths. After their presentations, there will be a round table open for discussion, followed by a networking space where attendees can exchange ideas, present projects, and establish contacts within the local entrepreneurial ecosystem.

During the event, the awards for the third edition of the Torrevieja Emprende programme will also be presented, recognising the best entrepreneurial initiatives that have emerged in the municipality. The awards will be presented by Ricardo Recuero, Councillor for Education, Innovation, Modernisation, and Transparency.

Torrevieja Emprende is part of Emprende UMH, a programme managed by the UMH Scientific Park that supports municipalities and public institutions in the province in their efforts to promote entrepreneurship and business development.
