In the kitchen, the heart of the home, family life unfolds. It's a place of laughter, tears, love, and heartbreak. From childhood to adulthood, surrounded by pots and pans, it is where families grow with time.
Lovers of gastronomy in Alicante, a city renowned for its 1,001 rice dishes, know this well. This year, Alicante is the gastronomic capital of Spain.
Therefore, TodoAlicante has launched the 'Historias con Delantal' gastronomy channel in 2025, where each week we share stories of soulful kitchens that transcend the human to become almost divine.
We also wish to honour the work, effort, and dedication of three chefs from Alicante, who are living history of the city's and province's gastronomy, known as the 'Gateway to Gastronomy', attracting thousands of tourists to savour the finest culinary delights.
Thus, on Monday, May 26th, at Casa Mediterráneo, starting at 7 PM, we will celebrate the first edition of the 'Historias con Delantal' Awards. REGISTER HERE.

The awards have been bestowed upon chef Alba Esteve, a candidate for 'Revelation Chef' at Madrid Fusion Alimentos de España 2023, the heart of Alba Restaurante; chef Pablo Montoro of Espacio Montoro; and Vicente Castelló, the driving force behind the Nou Manolín, a temple of Alicante gastronomy that inspired Joël Robuchon to create his L'Atelier.
An unmissable event for all those in love with cooking and Alicante, followed by a tasting fair of Alicante products with various stalls set up at the former Benalúa train station, enlivened by DJ Jairo Ginestar's music.
