El Maigmó Business Park, located in the municipality of Tibi, will expand with 160,360 square metres of new industrial land thanks to a joint initiative between the Consell, Ivace+i, and the Department of Environment, Infrastructure, and Territory, as announced by the Generalitat Valenciana.
With this action, Tibi positions itself as one of the areas with the greatest potential for sustainable industrial development in the province of Alicante. The expansion responds to the growing demand for quality industrial land by companies interested in establishing or expanding in the Alicante region. The project, considered strategic, aims to boost economic growth, attract new investments, and generate stable employment in the area.
Ivace+i officials and technicians from the Department have met with the mayor of Tibi, José Luis Candela, to coordinate the necessary urban planning procedures. The goal is to expedite the development of the new industrial land and make it available to the business sector as soon as possible.
El Maigmó Business Park, currently fully occupied and allocated to 13 companies, has so far involved an investment of 15 million euros and the creation of 278 jobs. Its excellent location next to the A-7 and just 20 km from the Port of Alicante makes it a key logistical and productive hub in the province.
The expansion will be 100% promoted by the Department of Innovation, Industry, Commerce, and Tourism through Ivace+i, reaffirming the Generalitat's commitment to boosting business activity in the Alicante interior.
"This project strengthens the supply of industrial land in the province, boosts the local business fabric, and consolidates the activity of companies already established in El Maigmó," highlighted the Consell.
