Three models and one color, the color of the dawn over the desert

One of the most recognized French authors worldwide, Antoine de Saint Exupéry, gives his name to the new exclusive collection of DS Automobiles. It does so on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of his disappearance on an air mission over the Mediterranean. The collection arrives transversally to the range of the French brand and links each model with one of the works of the French adventurer. Thus, the smallest of the saga, the DS 3 is a tribute to 'The Little Prince', the DS 4 to 'Southern Mail' and the DS 7 to 'Citadel'.

Three different segments, three different models, but with a transversal storyline that runs through the designs to unify them in this collection.

The element that most unites the three models is the color, a special shade created expressly for the collection: 'Night Flight'. It is a pearlescent paint composed of pigments that provide golden reflections, as if it were like a starry sky at dawn over the desert. Depending on the light, the color can vary from purple to bluish-gray.

To the exclusive tone must be added the interior atmosphere, where there are aesthetic nods to aviation pioneers. The nappa leather in criollo color (brown/maroon) with embroidery and decorations on the dashboard evoke an airplane's trail. It also incorporates several plates inside and outside that refer to the Antoine de Saint Exupéry collection. These plates feature quotes and drawings inspired by the works of the French adventurer and their design evokes early 20th-century airplane fuselages.

The DS 3 Antoine de Saint Exupéry pays tribute to 'The Little Prince', from which it takes its claim for the pleasure of traveling, discovering places, people, and even oneself. It features cutting-edge technology in driving assistance, connectivity, and even artificial intelligence. It includes ADML Proximity opening and starting as standard, as well as heated seats and connected navigation. It is offered with electric, hybrid, gasoline, and diesel engines, all with powers above 130 HP. And it comes with a price starting at 32,957.14 euros.

The DS 4 Saint Exupéry, on its part, is a C-segment model that combines sedan elegance, SUV adventurous air or fastback sporty spirit. Inspired by the novel 'Southern Mail', it is full of references to his facet as an airplane pilot with a nomadic spirit. The dimensions of the DS 4 are an excellent starting point for having a significant presence when used for long trips.

The front of the DS 4 features its own light signature. The headlights have the DS Matrix LED Vision system, which combines matrix and directional lighting. They are complemented by daytime running lights formed by two LED lines on each side. At the rear, the taillights feature a progressive effect in laser-etched scales. Inside, customizable indirect ambient lighting creates a unique atmosphere.

This model from the Saint Exupéry collection offers a wide range of engines, from the Hybrid 136 self-recharging one based on PureTech 1.2 three-cylinder gasoline engine recognized for its reliability and low consumption. The price of this model starts at 38,648.53 euros.

The DS 7 is inspired by his posthumous book 'Citadel', which reflects on human condition in a constantly changing world. On its exterior, this special series stands out for subtle details such as Antoine de Saint Exupéry's badge on doors.

The engine offer includes a plug-in hybrid version with 360 and 300 HP, as well as a diesel version with 130 HP. The DS 7 Saint Exupéry has a price starting at 51,748.28 euros.
