Three Employees of a Moving Company in Elche Steal Jewellery While Clearing Household Items

The Local Police of Elche have identified three employees of a moving company for allegedly stealing gold jewellery while clearing household items from a residence. It was after these workers left the premises that the owner noticed the valuable items were missing.

The homeowner immediately reported the incident to the Operations Centre 092. Following this call, a patrol of the Local Police was able to locate the vehicle with the suspects inside, according to sources from the incident.

After identifying the driver and the two passengers and confirming they were the same individuals, the municipal officers found several pieces of jewellery among the belongings of two of them, which matched the description provided by the homeowner, and they admitted to having stolen from the woman's house.

In light of the events, the police contacted the Civil Guard to continue proceedings against the alleged perpetrators of a theft offence.
