The incident occurred on November 26th, when municipal officers deployed in Torrellano and El Altet stopped a van that aroused suspicion. These suspicions were confirmed when the stakes were found in the trunk.
The vehicle's occupants claimed to the police that they had purchased them at a price of one euro per unit, although they could not provide an invoice or details of the alleged seller, raising suspicions that it might have been a theft.
The Local Police coordinated a task force to determine the origin of the goods, leading them to a warehouse storing this material, which had been forcibly accessed. The officers located the warehouse owner, who identified the material and filed the corresponding complaint.
Consequently, the three men, aged 28 and 36, were arrested for alleged robbery with force. Additionally, they were also administratively charged for the risk they posed by driving with such an excessive load in a van.
