Three Arrested in Elche for Assaulting an Acquaintance in a Café to Steal His Shopping

The Local Police of Elche have arrested three individuals aged 34, 48, and 51 for assaulting an acquaintance in a café in the Carrús neighborhood to steal his shopping. Additionally, one of the detainees lunged at an officer during the arrest, causing injuries.

Injuries were also inflicted on the robbery victim, who had to go to the hospital due to wounds on his nasal bridge, one eye, and his face. He initially went to a health center but had to subsequently go to the hospital due to the severity of his injuries.

According to a statement from the municipal security body, the incident occurred in a café in the Carrús neighborhood of Elche. A police unit was dispatched following a report of an assault on a man. Upon arrival, a witness explained that an acquaintance was having a drink when three men entered the establishment, assaulted him, and left with two bags containing the victim's shopping.
